The New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) ice hockey bounced the visiting Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Green Wave now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Branford for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. New Milford will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 1-1 league Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-3.

The Mountaineers (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston (Washington, CT). The Spartans come into the Southern Connecticut - DIII battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston beat Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 2-1, in a league battle.
