In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting North Kingstown Skippers ice hockey team scored a tight 3-1 win over the West Warwick Wizards.

The Skippers (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties enter the State Championship Division test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Mount St. Charles Academy held off East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 5-1, in a league test.

Next up, the Wizards encounter the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Friday, February 9. West Warwick will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Lions enter the test with a 6-9 record after their 7-4 league loss to Rogers (Newport, RI).
