The Piedmont Panthers ran past the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team by a final score of 44-34 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 13. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 8-10 record after their 34-29 non-league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC).
The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the non-league battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, North Stanly beat South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 48-45, in a non-league battle.
