Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Stephens County (Toccoa, GA).

The Red Raiders now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Oglethorpe County for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9.
