Oak Mountain Eagles (Birmingham, AL) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Northgate Vikings (Newnan, GA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Oak Mountain will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

The Vikings now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Innocents Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 14.
