Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs (Thermal, CA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mighty Arabs confront the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Coachella Valley will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Katella (Anaheim, CA).

The Panthers now have a 9-11 record.
