In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Century Panthers basketball team scored a good 88-76 win over the Albert Lea Tigers.

The Panthers (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies come into the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 12-12 record. In their last contest, Owatonna dropped by Mankato East (Mankato, MN), 72-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the John Marshall Rockets (Rochester, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Albert Lea will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Rockets come into the contest with a 17-3 record after their 66-55 league win over Century (Rochester, MN).
