The Spencerville Bearcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Allen East Mustangs to 46 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now have a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marion Local for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Spencerville will confront a Flyers team coming off a 55-48 league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, OH). The Flyers record now stands at 18-1.

With the loss, Allen East falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Fort Jennings (Fort Jennings, OH) to confront the Musketeers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Musketeers go into the game with a record of 14-6. Fort Jennings won 66-48 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson (Delphos, OH)
