The Lakeshore Lancers basketball squad (Stevensville, MI), was nudged 37-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Buchanan Bucks (Buchanan, MI)
With the victory, Buchanan advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Bucks host River Valley (Three Oaks, MI) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 8-6.
The Lancers now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West battle on Monday, February 10. Lakeshore will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 10-6.
