The Lafayette Lions basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Carencro Bears to 45 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 19-14 record. They play next when they host Acadiana for a 5A District 3 game on Tuesday, February 11. Lafayette will confront a Rams team coming off a 39-37 league win over Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Rams record now stands at 20-19.

With the loss, Carencro falls to 14-22 on the campaign. The Bears host Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Broncos in a 5A District 3 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 12-17. Sam Houston lost 49-42 in their recent league game against Southside (Youngsville, LA)
