In Friday's league contest, the host North Mac Panthers basketball team scored a good 52-39 win over the Carlinville Cavaliers.
The Panthers (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL). The Saukees come into the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Pittsfield was topped by Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL), 69-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Carlinville will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Lancers come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 73-42 non-league win over Ramsey (Ramsey, IL).
