The Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) basketball edged the host Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL), 56-49 in Friday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 16-9 record. They play next when they host Morton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Richwoods will play a Potters team coming off a 72-69 league loss to East Peoria (East Peoria, IL). The Potters record now stands at 19-6.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 11-14 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Decatur Eisenhower lost 49-44 in their recent league bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
