Kansas High School Basketball - St. John holds off Central Plains

The St. John Tigers basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting Central Plains Oilers to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Otis-Bison for a Central Prairie game on Tuesday, February 11. St. John will confront a Cougars team coming off a 68-19 league win over Chase (Chase, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Central Plains falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Oilers host Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS) to confront the Eagles in a Central Prairie game on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-7. Ellinwood won 54-48 in their recent non-league game against Hoisington (Hoisington, KS)
