The Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) basketball knocked off the host Chequamegon Screaming Eagles (Park Falls, WI), 50-34 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Black River Falls was outscored by West Salem (West Salem, WI), 94-50, in a league battle.
The Screaming Eagles now own a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crandon for a non-league battle on Monday, February 10. Chequamegon will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 71-56 league win over Goodman-Pembine (Goodman, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 12-8.
