The Chisholm Longhorns basketball squad (Enid, OK), was nudged 65-62 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fairview Yellowjackets (Fairview, OK)
With the victory, Fairview advances its record to 14-6 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Hennessey (Hennessey, OK) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 11-11. Hennessey lost 51-46 in their recent non-league battle against Ripley (Ripley, OK)
The Longhorns now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blackwell for a 89er - West battle on Monday, February 10. Chisholm will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 72-54 non-league win over Pawnee (Pawnee, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 9-12.
