The Hermitage Hornets basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Climax Springs Cougars to 39 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Macks Creek for a Polk County game on Tuesday, February 11. Hermitage will play a Pirates team coming off a 56-25 league loss to Wheatland (Wheatland, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 4-17.

With the loss, Climax Springs falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Crocker (Crocker, MO) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Lions go into the game with a record of 13-7. Crocker lost 70-64 in their recent league match against Iberia (Iberia, MO)
