In Friday's non-league contest, the host Madison Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 44-38 triumph over the Crest Lancers.
The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Uniontown nipped Waverly (Waverly, KS), 50-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the Northeast Vikings (Arma, KS) in a Three Rivers contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Crest will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 67-38 non-league loss to Galena (Galena, KS).
