In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Thomas More Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 58-40 triumph over the Douglas Patriots.
The Cavaliers (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets go into the A Region 8 contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Rapid City Christian topped Mahpiya Luta (Pine Ridge, SD), 70-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Douglas will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 55-25 league loss to Hill City (Hill City, SD).
