The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO) and the visiting Penney Hornets (Hamilton, MO), observed East Buchanan's basketball team overwhelm Penney by a score of 72-49.

The Bulldogs (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO). The Dragons come into the KCI challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Mid-Buchanan trounced Lathrop (Lathrop, MO), 79-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Monday, February 10. Penney will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.
