In Friday's non-league contest, the host Shelby County Rockets basketball team scored a good 63-51 triumph over the Grant County Braves.
The Rockets (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals go into the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Lafayette topped Madison Southern (Berea, KY), 77-70, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Braves confront the Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Grant County will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record.
