Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield routed by Western Branch

February 7, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23323

The Western Branch Bruins bounced the host Grassfield Grizzlies basketball squad by a final score of 83-59 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Bruins clash with the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern outing, on Monday, February 10. Western Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 15-2 record after their 75-48 non-league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA).

The Grizzlies (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Southeastern outing with a 6-12 record. In their last match, Lakeland was crushed by Maury (Norfolk, VA), 60-47, in a non-league match.
