Illinois High School Basketball - Illinois School for the Deaf sneaks past New Mexico School for the Deaf

The Illinois School for the Deaf Tigers (Jacksonville, IL) basketball edged the visiting New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM), 57-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oklahoma School for the Deaf for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Illinois School for the Deaf will play a Bison team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS). The Bison record now stands at 17-7.
With the loss, New Mexico School for the Deaf falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Roadrunners host Des Moines (Des Moines, NM) to play the Demons in a A District 5 bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Des Moines lost 75-66 in their recent league bout against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM)
