The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Osceola Indians (Osceola, MO) and the host Jasper Eagles (Jasper, MO), observed Osceola's basketball team overwhelm Jasper by a score of 67-39.

The Indians (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeland (Deepwater, MO). The Vikings come into the Western Missouri challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Lakeland trounced Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO), 57-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Appleton City Bulldogs (Appleton City, MO) in a Western Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Jasper will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 55-53 league win over Archie (Archie, MO).
