The Leipsic Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting McComb Panthers to 40 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pandora-Gilboa for a Putnam County game on Saturday, February 8. Leipsic will confront a Rockets team coming off a 63-42 league loss to Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, McComb falls to 4-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Temple Christian (Lima, OH) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 11-7. Temple Christian won 54-30 in their recent league game against Ridgedale (Morral, OH)
