Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Pana Panthers (Pana, IL), 62-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Litchfield advances its record to 12-15 on the year. The Purple Panthers travel to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL) to face the Vandals in a South Central match on Tuesday, February 11. The Vandals enter the match with a record of 11-15. Vandalia lost 51-49 in their recent league match against Southwestern (Piasa, IL)

The Panthers now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylorville for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. Pana will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 67-27 league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 12-13.
