The Willow Lions got by the host Riverside Academy Rebels basketball squad by a final score of 52-49 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Lions clash with the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a 4A District 9 outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Willow will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Comets come into the outing with a 18-18 record after their 73-38 league loss to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA).
The Rebels (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 16-15 record. In their last outing, White Castle held off St. John (Plaquemine, LA), 59-41, in a league outing.
