South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), 50-32 in a league match.

With the victory, South County upgrades its record to 15-13 on the year. The Vipers travel to Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL) to face the Tornadoes in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Tornadoes enter the match with a record of 11-15. Griggsville-Perry lost 61-31 in their recent non-league match against Lutheran (Springfield, IL)

The Tornadoes now sport a 11-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edinburg for a match on Friday, February 14.
