In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Trinity Shamrocks basketball team scored a big 76-28 win over the Lexington Catholic Knights.
The Shamrocks (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, South Oldham smashed Fairdale (Fairdale, KY), 70-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Lexington Catholic will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Lafayette (Lexington, KY).
