The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds (Windsor, CO) and the visiting Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), observed Windsor Charter Academy's basketball team knock off Platte Valley by a score of 53-40.
The Firebirds (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland (Ault, CO). The Huskies come into the challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Highland was knocked off by Platte Valley (Kersey, CO), 46-41, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Broncos encounter the Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Platte Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
