The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Berean Academy Warriors (Elbing, KS) and the visiting Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS), observed Berean Academy's basketball team overwhelm Sterling by a margin of 44-20.

The Warriors (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Broncos come into the Heart of America challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Remington was trounced by Inman (Inman, KS), 37-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Bears battle the Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS) in a Heart of America challenge, on Monday, February 10. Sterling will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Celtics come into the test with a 2-13 record after their 53-45 league win over Sedgwick (Sedgwick, KS).
