The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC) and the visiting St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC), observed Bethune-Bowman's basketball team knock off St. John's by a score of 55-37.

The Mohawks (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC). The Bobcats come into the A Region 5 challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Baptist Hill prevailed over Lowcountry Leadership (Hollywood, SC), 58-14, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Islanders battle the Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) in a A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. St. John's will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
