In Friday's league contest, the visiting East St. John Wildcats basketball team scored a big 70-16 triumph over the Central Lafourche Trojans.
The Wildcats (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against Terrebonne (Houma, LA). The Tigers go into the 5A District 8 contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Terrebonne was trounced by Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 64-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Hahnville Tigers (Boutte, LA) in a 5A District 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Central Lafourche will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 53-47 league win over Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA).
