The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cheney Tech Chargers (Manchester, CT) and the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), observed Cheney Tech's basketball team overcome Goodwin Tech by a score of 41-31.

The Chargers (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Grasso RVT (Groton, CT). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record.

In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT) in a Connecticut Technical challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Goodwin Tech will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record.
