In Friday's league test, the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) basketball squad trounced the host Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), by a score of 57-19.
Next, the J-Hawks encounter the Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 10. Jesup will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 15-5 record after their 68-13 league win over West Central (Maynard, IA).
The Sailors (2-19) will now prepare for their test against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Wahawks come into the non-league test with a 6-15 record. In their last test, Waterloo West was routed by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 67-51, in a league test.
