In Friday's non-league contest, the host Holland Christian Maroons basketball team scored a good 55-38 triumph over the Covenant Christian Chargers.
The Maroons (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI). The Chix go into the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Zeeland East was topped by Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI), 47-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the North Muskegon Norsemen (North Muskegon, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Covenant Christian will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Norsemen go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 42-24 league loss to Mason County Central (Scottville, MI).
