The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) and the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), observed DeWitt's basketball team overwhelm Sault Area by a score of 63-34.

The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Lansing (East Lansing, MI). The Trojans come into the Capital Area - Blue challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, East Lansing trounced Waverly (Lansing, MI), 44-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Sault Area will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Northmen come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 50-37 league loss to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI).
