The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) and the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), observed Shenandoah's basketball team knock off Kuemper by a score of 53-45.

The Mustangs (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 8-15 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the St. Mary's Hawks (Remsen, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Kuemper will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 63-43 non-league loss to George-Little Rock (George, IA).
