The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Notre Dame Academy Eagles (Toledo, OH) and the host Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI), observed Notre Dame Academy's basketball team knock off Mercy by a score of 55-43.
The Eagles (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Holland, OH). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 0-21 record. In their last challenge, Springfield dropped by Napoleon (Napoleon, OH), 71-19, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Marlins battle the Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Mercy will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 59-27 non-league win over Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI).
