Rhode Island High School Basketball - Scituate knocks off Middletown

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Scituate Spartans basketball team scored a good 37-20 win over the Middletown Islanders.
The Spartans (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts come into the Division II contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Cranston East was topped by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 58-36, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Islanders battle the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Middletown will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record.
