In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Phillips Academy Big Blue ice hockey team scored a close 5-2 victory over the New Hampton School Huskies.

The Big Blue (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Austin Prep (Reading, MA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Austin Prep by Williston Northampton (Easthampton, MA), 9-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Huskies play the St. Paul's Big Red (Concord, NH) in a contest, on Wednesday, February 12. New Hampton School will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
