In Friday's non-league test, the Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ) ice hockey squad tipped the host Hotchkiss School Bearcats (Lakeville, CT), by a final score of 3-2.
Next, the Big Red face the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY) in a test, on Sunday, February 9. Lawrenceville School will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 4-22 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Winchendon (Winchendon, MA).
The Bearcats (6-13) will now prepare for their test against Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Martlets come into the bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Westminster School edged Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT), 4-1, in a league bout.
