The Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), 55-43 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. Grassfield will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Western Branch falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-0. King's Fork won 71-60 in their recent league bout against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
