The Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) basketball were winner over the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 62-54 in Friday's non-league game.
The Cavaliers now have a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Grassfield for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Lakeland will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Great Bridge falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cox (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 3-4.
