In Friday's non-league match, the host John Paul II Cardinals softball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors.
The Cardinals (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Christian Academy tipped Trinity Christian (Addison, TX), 14-0, in a non-league match.
