Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Blue Hill Bobcats (Blue Hill, NE) and the host Bertrand Vikings (Bertrand, NE), saw Blue Hill's basketball squad hold off Bertrand by a tally of 57-52.

With the victory, Blue Hill improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Deshler (Deshler, NE) to confront the Dragons in a non-league test on Friday, February 11. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 3-17. Deshler lost 43-36 in their recent non-league test against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE)

The Vikings now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Arapahoe for a D1 District 9 test on Friday, February 11. Bertrand will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 62-40 non-league loss to Cambridge (Cambridge, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 6-14.
