West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN), 61-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Central Area upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Knights host Wheaton/Herman-Norcross (Wheaton, MN) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 11. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Wheaton/Herman-Norcross won 65-53 in their recent league bout against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Friday, February 11. Parkers Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 62-44 league win over Ashby (Ashby, MN).
