Greenfield Green Wave (Greenfield, MA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Baystate Academy (Springfield, MA), 68-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greenfield upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Green Wave host Hopkins Academy (Hadley, MA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Hopkins Academy lost 55-53 in their recent league bout against Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA)

Next up, the play the Palmer Panthers (Palmer, MA) in a Bi-County - East bout, on Friday, February 10. Baystate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Southwick-Tolland (Southwick, MA).
