Alaska High School Basketball - Sand Point overwhelms Birchwood Christian

February 8, 2023: Chugiak, AK 99567

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sand Point Eagles (Sand Point, AK) and the host Birchwood Christian Warriors (Chugiak, AK), saw Sand Point's basketball squad wallop Birchwood Christian by a tally of 83-27.

With the victory, Sand Point improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Warriors play the Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Birchwood Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 48-32 non-league loss to Nenana (Nenana, AK).
