Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cedar Ridge Timberwolves (Newark, AR), 81-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Hoxie (Hoxie, AR) to play the Mustangs in a 3A Region 2 bout on Saturday, February 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Hoxie lost 70-44 in their recent league bout against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the Bald Knob Bulldogs (Bald Knob, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 15-8 season record.
