In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) basketball squad edged the host New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), by a count of 69-63.
The Panthers (16-8) will now prepare for their outing against Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Seminoles go into the AAAAA Region 5 outing with a 13-11 record. In their last outing, Creekside held off Banneker (College Park, GA), 64-28, in a league outing.
The Jaguar now hold a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas County for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 11. New Manchester will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 66-57 league win over East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-17.
